I'm new to this forum, primarily because I'm experiencing some trouble with my S-10 and figured this would be a good place to start since I've spent lots of successful time on About's motorcycle forums.

I have a 2000 S-10, V-6 automatic w/ 38,000 miles. The problem is the transmission seems to hesitate between gears, and sometimes actually jams hard from gear to gear. It also hesitates when going from park to drive, or park to reverse. I'm reluctant to even ask the dealer about it because the warranty period has ended. I told them about it before the warranty ended and, of course, they couldn't "duplicate the problem during the test run", and told me it was fine.

If anyone has experience with this problem or can direct me to another site for help, I'd appreciate it.
