I am trying to export my contacts from Outlook 2007 to a csv file so that I can then import them to Address book on my new Imac.

When I export the contacts to the csv file from Outlook, I am exporting to a csv (Windows) file and the file is created OK. 

The first thing I noticed is that the street addresses being exported from Outlook (some of which are on 2 or 3 separate lines in the street box on the Address details pop up window ) are exported to one singe cell in the csv file (i.e. Street Address) and the Street Address 2 and Street Address 3 cells are empty. 

When I export the files, I checked the maping options and there are options to map Street Address 1-3, and they are mapped to do so, but this is not working.

Any ideas??

The next problem is that when I try to import the CSV file to Address book in the IMac, I have copied the files to a flash disk and onto the Imac.  I have then followed the correct procedure to import but when, after custom mapping the fields, I click OK, nothing happens - or more to the point, the cursor shows working but nothing happens (I have left it for a long time).  It just sems to freeze and I have had to force close Address book.

Any ideas?  (I have MobileMe set up to sync - in case this may be a reason?)
